Who wouldn't love that adorable, squishy face! This little pug even has an anorak coat, ready for walks in the woods, whatever the weather.
 
The finished toy is about 30 cm (12") tall, and all the toy pieces are knit flat, then seamed and assembled. This is an intermediate level pattern because of the intarsia on the face, and optional knitting in the round on the sleeves. 
 
Materials Required
Pug: 100 g of tan chunky/bulky weight yarn (MC), 20 g of black or dark brown chunky/bulky weight yarn (CC), pair of 5 or 5.5 mm (US size 8 or 9) knitting needles, small amount of yarn for embroidering face, two 12-14 mm black buttons or safety eyes, stuffing, tapestry needle
Anorak: 50g of worsted weight yarn, 4 mm (US size 6) circular needle, 4 st markers, scrap yarn, darning needle, button or ribbon (optional)
