This friendly tiger is ready for a summer party in her lovely dress! This pattern is a fun way to learn or practice some more advanced knitting skills, such as intarsia, knitting in the round, and stranded colourwork. The toy is knit flat, then seamed and assembled. The dress is knit in the round. The finished toy is about 23 cm (9") tall.
 
Materials Required
Tiger: 25 g of orange worsted weight yarn (OR), 25 g of black worsted weight yarn (BL), 10 g of white worsted weight yarn (WH), pink yarn for embroidering face, two 8-10 mm buttons or safety eyes, stuffing, pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, tapestry needle
Dress: 25 g of sport weight yarn in main colour (MC), 10 g of sport weight yarn in contrasting colour (CC), 3 mm and 3.25 mm needles (US sizes 2.5 & 3, sets of dpns or long circular needles for magic loop method), tapestry needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn
