Sweet Sea Potatoes these toys are cute! Knit your own huge and huggable walrus or manatee toy from this new Fuzzy Mitten design. Made from bulky weight yarn, it's quick to knit and extra squishable. 
 
This toy is knit flat and seamed, and uses basic knitting skills such as m1 increases, a selection of decreases, stockinette stitch, a ribbed pattern, as well as short rows for shaping. The walrus has more finishing details, so there are extra photos in the pattern to help with these. 
 
Materials
Walrus: 250 g (~250 m) of brown bulky weight yarn (MC), 15 g of white bulky weight yarn (CC), 10 g of tan fingering weight yarn for the whiskers, pair of 5.5 mm (US size 9) knitting needles, two 5.5 mm (US size 9) double pointed needles (dpns) for I-cord tusks, pair of 15 mm black safety eyes, stuffing, black yarn to embroider face, tapestry needle, scrap yarn for marking and holding sts, pins to help with assembly, small crochet hook (optional)
Manatee: 250 g (~250 m) of grey bulky weight yarn (MC), pair of 5.5 mm (US size 9) knitting needles, pair of 15 mm black safety eyes, stuffing, black yarn to embroider face, tapestry needle, scrap yarn for marking and holding sts, pins to help with assembly
