Dress up your dolls for a summer picnic! This outfit is designed to fit the Fuzzy Mitten Wood-Elf and Unicorn dolls. The top will also fit the Mermaid doll. The instructions include a short-sleeve raglan shirt in two lengths, shorts, a skirt, and a market tote. Instructions for the dolls are not included. The simple design of the top is perfect for using up a bit of pretty sock yarn, which can then be coordinated with a skirt or pair of shorts. All the pieces are designed to be easy to put on the dolls (buttons can be replaced with ties or snaps, for a younger child).
The pattern is experienced-beginner level. Skills required includes stockinette stitch, ribbing and seed stitch, k2tog, ssk, increasing, and casting on stitches within a row. All pieces are worked flat and then seamed.
