A sweet woodland mouse, with a pocket pullover to keep cozy in the autumn air. 
 
The finished toy is about 8" tall, and all pieces are knit flat, then seamed and assmebled. The pattern is intermediate level because of the intarsia on the toy's face, the I-cord tail, and the more involved construction of the pullover. The mouse will fit any of the other outfits from my smaller toys, in you'd like more options for clothing your toy.
 
Materials Required
Mouse: 40 g of worsted weight yarn in main colour (MC), 15 g of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colour (CC), pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, two 4 mm (Us size 6) double pointed needles (dpns, optional), two 10.5 mm black buttons or safety eyes, stuffing, yarn for embroidering face, tapestry needle
Pocket Pullover: 20 g of fingering or sport weight yarn, pair of 3.25 mm (US size 3) knitting needles, tapestry needle, scrap yarn, 2 straight pins, small crochet hook and button (optional)
