I have a new pattern coming out very soon, for a capybara chef! When I design a new toy, I try to capture the key features of each animal, and translate them into cute, simple designs to knit. The most obvious features that define a capybara are their square snouts and sleepy-lidded eyes, which you can see clearly in the photo below. I was also struck by their large, slightly webbed toes. So, I came up with an easy method to give the rounded feet more defined toes. While I tried to make the instructions in the pattern as clear as possible, I thought a quick video would be helpful too. I hope you knit your own capybara soon!
